First Presbyterian Church has a rich history in support of Missions in her 123 year history. Being a “mission minded” church has led us to have numerous “hands-on” mission activities including activities including our work with; Greenville Community Shelters, Food Bank of Eastern NC, numerous mission trips and teams, refugee resettlement, CROP Walk, and the Ulster Project. In addition to these activities, our congregation has participates in local, state, national, and international mission offerings and events.
In our worship we seek to glorify God and joyfully respond to God’s activity in the world. We pray, sing, read the word and respond to the call of Jesus to bind up the broken hearted, pray for the sick, comfort the afflicted and challenge ourselves to follow Christ into the world. We worship regularly on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11:00 AM and on other special occasions.
