This program is an interactive way of teaching worship to our 4 – 6 year old children by using natural materials and concise biblical stories. This class is offered each Sunday morning during the 11:00 worship service. Each lesson prepares children for future growth and teaches them about the sacred space that is worship.
Each Sunday the church offers an infant and toddler Nursery for 8:30 and 11:00 worship. Our trained staff invites you to come and bring your children. Sunday school teaching begins with preschoolers.
Our Sunday school hour is from 9:45-10:45 each Sunday for all ages. K – First graders are taught through a interactive video “Little K,” where they get to know biblical heroes and learn faith values for their lives. Second graders through youth use Faithweaver Friends that encourages faith building lessons and biblical knowledge. Our five adult classes are varied and offer a range from traditional bible studies to video series on life issues. All classes encourage involvement and welcome new members.
Confirmation Class is designed for students entering the 8th grade to have the chance to reconfirm their faith in Christ. Students will have the opportunity to attend classes, meet with sponsoring elders, and participate in a retreat to help them on this journey.
The Youth group meets on Sunday nights from 5:00 — 7:00 in the Basement Fellowship Hall. Our purpose is to create a fun, safe, and meaningful program to allow all members to grow in their Journey in Faith. This is accomplished through service, worship, and fellowship. Some of our activities include Fall Festival, Christmas Shopping for underprivileged families, CROP Walk, Youth Retreats, Ski Trip, Mission Trips, volunteering at the Humane Society and Food Bank, leading worship service and Bible Study. This is for all students entering grades 6-12. If you are looking for information, please contact Brian Dilday at 252-367-1914 or e-mail at FPCyouthgreenville@gmail.com.
