What to Expect
We offer two, engaging traditional worship services every Sunday at 8:30am and 11am. Both services include scripture and preaching as well as unison prayers and hymns printed in the bulletin and on screen for our livestream congregation. We livestream our 8:30am service which always has communion and features our choral scholars and often guitar, mandolin, and flute. Once COVID restrictions are lifted, our 11am service will once again be blessed by the choral music of our chancel choir under the direction of Karrie Rushing. Music is a vital part of our worship life, and Brad Collier fills our worship services with hymns, spirituals, classical music and more on both the piano and our Lewtak Organ.
What to Wear
Please wear your mask and what makes you feel comfortable in worship. Most of our congregation tends towards “business casual” or what we in the South sometimes call “church clothes” but we welcome all. You’ll see plenty of kids in sneakers, shorts, flip flops, soccer jerseys, and other clothes they love.
When You Arrive
We are at the corner of 14th Street and Elm Street. Park in the lot off Elm or 14th street and head for glass doors to the Welcome Center. When you enter, the sanctuary will be towards the corner of 14th and Elm with single stall restrooms on the first floor and the second floor balcony. Men’s and Women’s restrooms, nursery, and coffee hour will be towards the interior of the property on the opposite side of the Welcome Center. Older Elementary and youth meet for education between services in our lower level, under the sanctuary. Most adult classes are on the second floor which you can reach using the elevator off the Welcome Center. Make sure to grab a special gift with information about our church after worship.
