Youth Sunday--the 4 dates that I have for Youth Sunday are March 26th, April 16th, April 23rd, and May 21st.  April 23rd will probably work the best!  The other 3 are options.

Fall Festival Information:

The Youth will be hosting their annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 30th!  As always, this will be a fundraiser for our Christmas Mission Project.  There will be games, costume contests, a cake walk, and trunk or treat.  We are in need of cars to set up for the participants to visit so if you are interested, please contact Brian Dilday.  We will also need donations of individually wrapped candy to offer as prizes and for Trunk or Treat.  There will be a basket in the Welcome Center by the elevator to put donations in.  The cost will be $25 per family or you can get a discounted rate per family if you bring in a pair of gloves, a scarf, a hat, or socks for foster care families or 5 cans of food. Individuals are welcome!  The cost is $10 per person (or $5 if you bring in an item).  We are always looking for ways to help others!  The Fall Festival will be from 4:30 - 7.  Trunk or Treat vehicles may arrive at 4 to begin setting up.  We will also have a Gift Card Raffle basket valued around $300 to purchase tickets for a chance to win. You can purchase tickets on October 30th after the 8:30 service and before and after the 11:00 service in the Fellowship Hall.  They are $1 per ticket or $10 for 15 tickets.  All monies raised go to shopping for families in need at Christmas.

Times for the Fall Festival:

2:30 Youth will arrive to set up

4:30 - 6 Games and Trunk or Treat

6-7 Dinner and a Costume Parade

Gift Cards Needed!!  As we get closer to our Fall Festival, we are in need of Gift Cards for our Gift Card Raffle Basket.  This is always a huge money maker for this project and we can use gift cards from local establishments in amounts of $5-$25.  You can leave them in my mailbox at the church or bring them to youth.

Upcoming Important Dates/Events:

Confirmation Class Begins--October 16th

Regular Youth--October 16th

Regular Youth--October 23rd

Fall Festival Lock In--October 28th starting at 8:30

Fall Festival--October 30th

It always warms my heart that anytime that I ever go to the Youth to do something for someone else, the answer is always, "Yes, let's make it happen".  I can't think of a better way of feeling God's love than through serving others as we share in the journey and grow in our faith together.
