2024 Mayfest Grant Application

Application deadline: February 15, 2024. Typically, organizations are supported for one year.

Awards will be announced by April 1, 2024. You will be asked to participate in the event, helping us unload and sort items as well as assist on the day of the event which is May 11, 2024 (the second Saturday of May this year). You will be asked to attend a church services to receive the grant. Organizations receiving funding will submit a provided report to First Presbyterian Church on the progress of the project and the use of the funds by November 1, 2024. Funds must be used for accepted request. If you would like to change the said request, you must contact us in advance. Even if the project is not complete or the funds have not been completely used, please submit an extension report with projected completion dates. If we do not receive this report, you will not be permitted to apply the next year.

Capital Campaign - An organized drive to collect and accumulate substantial funds to finance major needs of an organization such as a building, major repair project, etc.

Specific Program/Project Support – A request for funding for a specific program or project within your organization. (Program/project may be existing or new.)

Participation*

We are willing to attend a First Presbyterian Church Service for the presentation of our donation (if needed).

We are willing to participate in sorting and unloading of bins 4/27/2024 or 5/4/2024

We are willing to volunteer the day of the event, which is May 11, 2024

We are willing to help sell hotdog lunch tickets.

We are willing to allow FPC to use our logo in conjunction with publicity for this event. (Recommended, but not required)

We want to build partnerships with our grant recepients, and we would like for you to participate in the investment of energy required to complete the Mayfest event. Your participation will be publicized, raising awareness of your organization.
